ONN – The “M” In “” Was Misaligned, A Metaphor For Raiders Las Vegas Stadium Problems.

On the morning of March 10th, 2020, at 8:20 AM, the “M” that was to complete the installation of the name “” started its journey up to its perch on the side of the new home of the former . It was taken up by two cranes, then held in place and welded into position. By 10 AM, the job was finished, but there was one very noticeable problem.

As pointed out by Seth Yudof on Twitter, the poor “M” in “” was installed just a noticeable tad above all of the other letters in the name representing a $400 million investment by the Las Vegas-based low-cost major carrier, Allegiant Airlines.

With the Coronavirus pandemic hurting the airline industry, the construction of points the way toward a promising future for the airline and for Las Vegas. In a rush to finish the NFL and UNLV facility, the problem with the “M” is symbolic for the other issues that have plagued the construction process, most notably the cable net roof structure problem.

Stay tuned.

Note from Media and Now: this video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of media. What we call “The Third Wave of Media”. The uploaded video is from a ger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Now site and -created and owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of , interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the and within seconds and not hours. Now, is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
