The intent, as explained to me by Amy Hillyard, co-owner of Farley’s East Cafe in Uptown Oakland, is to support and promote The Town’s native entrepreneurs.
Amy explained that the Oakland Indie Alliance hired an agency to establish the promotional campaign (it should have called Zennie62Media for help, but I digress).
The T-shirt you see was created to raise funds for the non-profit. You can buy the t-shirts at Farley’s East Cafe at 33 Grand Avenue, which is the home of the “Keep It Oakland” movement.
Oakland News Now Note: this post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest version of an experimental mobile media video-blogging system network that’s part of Zennie62Media. The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 onYouTube channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site. The objective is real-time on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network and also seek interested content and media technology partners.
