That’s why the hot dog vendors, commonly seen around Uptown Oakland during First Friday, were so welcome. In forming a kind of “hot dog row” in the middle of the bridge, the vendors gave Raiders fans a chance to hang out and talk, and allow the long train lines to shorten.
