ONN – Violator, Oakland Raiders Superfan, Not Coming To Las Vegas, Featured In Channel 8 Commercials

The news has been all over that Waybe Mabry, AKA Oakland Raiders Superfan Violator out of Los Angeles, is not coming to join the Raiders organization in Las Vegas. On December 21st, he told KPIX in the SF / Oakland Bay Area that he’s “clocking out” of supporting the Raiders in Las Vegas, and all because of the high ticket prices. The price for a personal seat license at Allegiant Stadium will be $500-$7,500, and season tickets are between $650 to $3,000.

Waybe Mabry, AKA Oakland Raiders Superfan Violator is not the only member of Raider Nation who’s made that decision. When I attended the Bengals vs. Raiders game, all of the season ticket holders in row 9 of section 212 told me they were not planning to make games in Las Vegas, and they live in Oakland. Part of the reason is the price of the ticket, the other, the way the relocation itself was done. There are a lot of hard feelings over the way Raiders Owner Mark Davis treated many long time fans, including getting into heated arguments with major supporters like Loren Piper.

With all of this, you would think you’d not see Waybe Mabry, AKA Oakland Raiders Superfan Violator’s face on Las Vegas television, but there he is.

I wonder if Violator knows that his face is being used to promote the Raiders in Sin City?

Stay tuned.

Note from Oakland News Now Technical: this video-blog post shows the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. The main system is a major part of Zennie62Media’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. There, an uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62-owned social media pages. This part allows rapid conversion of YouTube videos from any source channel (with permission and from Zennie62 on YouTube) to Oakland News Now blog posts. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
