ONN – Insight Terminal Solutions OBOT, Climate Change And The Oakland Black Community
This vlog reveals and repeats several facts. First, the fact is that the Oakland Bulk and Oversized Terminal, or OBOT, is a bulk terminal and not a coal terminal. Second, the OBOT is designed to stem the reduction of basic industry jobs. Third, it was created to replace the jobs at West Oakland that were lost due to the closure of the Oakland Army Base. Fourth, Oakland’s black community has been hardest hit by technological change and basic job numbers declines.
Zennie62Media and me, Zennie Abraham, are proud and vocal that Insight Terminal Solutions is our client in online marketing and content distribution. This space has never hid that, it’s just that some have not bothered to read Oakland News Now – that’s the real truth. Welcome.
The truth about climate change must be released: and that is that it’s been with us over the last 15 years. The problem is that, today, we don’t call on major technology to be applied to basic industry. We used to do that.
The other problem is that we’ve added 4.4 billion people to this planet since 1962, the year I was born. We have to have a global talk about our future and then form a plan to reduce the rate of growth of the population, and also reduce emissions via technology.
The Insight Terminal Solutions Oakland Bulk and Oversized Terminal was the answer in 1991, before the Oakland Army Base closure action, and it’s still the answer today.
Note from Oakland News Now Technical: this video-blog post shows the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62-owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
