Bucs Ndamukong Suh Is Upgrade From Panthers Gerald McCoy In Trade Comparison

In a comparison, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Ndamukong Suh is better that the Carolina Panthers Gerald McCoy. Suh has almost double the total tackles (478 to 297) and has played in more games (142 to 123) and the only measure where McCoy comes close is sacks (54 to 56). That’s it.

And keep in mind that Suh was the 2010 Draft pick to the Detroit Lions, the second pick, and McCoy was right behind him and headed to the Buccaneers. So, over that span of time, Suh has outplayed McCoy.

Additionally, Ndamukong Suh was the 2010 Heisman Trophy runner-up to Cam Newton. Interestingly, Suh now gets to try and sack the man he lost to, the Panthers Quarterback Newton.

Ndamukong Suh Has Toned-Down His Habit Of Rough, Dirty Play

Early on, Ndamukong Suh developed a reputation for providing a little extra emphasis on hitting. Maybe he would kick an opponent when he though the referee wasn’t looking. Perhaps he was known for a headlap. But by his fifth year, Suh managed to all-but take that style of play out of his personal game plan. But, with all that, new Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians says it’s exactly that style of play he wants from Ndamukong Suh.

Stay tuned.
