ONN – The Warriors Owe Oakland Coliseum $40 Million, Raiders, Las Vegas Update.
A lively livestream talk about the Warriors loss to the Oakland-Alameda Coliseum Joint Powers Authority in court, where the team owes $40 million in outstanding bond debt payments. The fans asked a number of interesting questions beyond my short talk about that.
One of them was who was going to win the upcoming Oakland Raiders at SF 49ers Game? I said I was picking the Raiders, though they made it hard, given their play. On the other hand, the 49ers also had only 1 win – so it’s the battle of “ones.”
Then, the talk became wide ranging. We also talked about Hue Jackson’s losing his Cleveland Browns Head Coaching Job. I said that Hue needed to understand that the moment one has to say they’re the head coach, that’s when that person loses their authority and respect of the organization.
A number of black men in positions of authority in industries where black executives are lacking in number have the “chip on the shoulder” problem. A good mentor can help overcome that. Hue needs to understand how to assert his power without speaking about his power. In other words, he should have fired his Offensive Coordinator Todd Haley for insubordination.
Check it out.
