This United Airlines flight made it from San Francisco to Atlanta in just under 4 hours, and even though it was late leaving SFO Airport by a full hour.

The trip was an experience in the mixing of travel comfort and speed. Rather than fly into a storm, the United pilots expertly steered around the storm, as was the case here.

The result? A view of a lightening storm as it happens, and from some distance away.

And a great red-eye travel episode, courtesy of United Airlines.
