The Oakland Alameda County Coliseum Joint Powers Authority received the lease the Oakland Raiders approved and signed and got back to the City of Oakland – one month after the Raiders got the document back to to the City Attorney. Why? Lawsuit? Nope. Raiders flirting with San Jose? Nope.
Simple reason: The Oakland City Attorney’s Office is slow. Moreover, the feeling of one legal observer is that when it comes to the Coliseum the City Attorney’s Staff is not on the same page as the County’s lawyers.
